Journalism and technology

Jorge Luis innovated in digital journalism as a Knight International Journalism Fellow at the International Center for Journalists. He created digital maps to track crime and corruption in Panama, Mexico, and Iraq, and developed the Salama web application, which enhances security for journalists and human rights defenders worldwide.
